To get a residence permit, you need to fill a form issued by the Ministry of the Interior and get it signed by your sponsor. You will be fingerprinted and will have to undergo a medical examination. If you are found to have serious infectious diseases, you will not be allowed to stay in the country. Once you get a residence permit, you are required to register for a Civil ID card, which you need to carry with you at all times.
